Light up sweatshirts use an extremely thin, yet durable electroluminescent (EL) panel to illuminate the shirt. The panels are either sewn onto the shirt directly or attached with velcro. The panel is powered by a small inverter that uses 2 AAA batteries. We offer two different types of inverters: a standard one which illuminates the design on its own, or a sound-activated one which exclusively uses sound and music to light the shirt design. Each sweatshirt has a hidden pocket on the inside to place the battery pack.
